After getting Nexus 4, I’ve been wondering if I can export all birthdays from my Facebook account to the Google calendar, so as to view them on my phone even when I’m not connected to the internet. And it seems there’s a way to do that.
So in this post I’ll be talking about how to export birthdays from Facebook account to Google calendarand also the advantages of doing this.
How To Export Facebook Birthdays To Google Calendar?
Step 2 – Click Settings icon on the top right corner. And now choose Export option.
Step 3 – Right click on ‘Export your friends birthdays‘ option and select copy link.
Step 4 – Go to Google Calender and see the left sidebar.
Step 5 – Pastethe previously copied URL or Link over here. And hit Add Calendar button.
The advantages of exporting Facebook birthdays to Google account are as follows –

With the new channel one layout for YouTube, Most people are unable to find inbox. You might think this post is really useless or totally not needed but trust me there are many YouTube users who are not able to find their inbox.
After joining YouTube product forums and answering to more than 100’s of topics, I can now safely say that with the new changing layout of YouTube, users are unable to find inbox with ease.
For example, users who have linked their YouTube account with Google plus are having trouble to find the YouTube inbox. I don’t know if they have fixed the problem, but after reading several threads I came to know that the YouTube inbox is always accessible via the following URL: www.youtube.com/inbox
That’s all I wanted to share in this thread. If you have any questions, feel free to comment below. And if you find this helpful, subscribe to blog feed for more amazing posts.
If you have been waiting for the facebook stickers to come to PC, then here’s a good news for you guys. Facebook stickers have come to the web. This means you can use stickers on the facebook website via any device including PC.
Facebook had made the stickers available for its Androidand iOSapps few months ago. Stickers were appreciated by many users in a short span of time maybe because using a emoticon like : ) is just not enough today.
Facebook has been adding new sets of stickers over time and every new set never failed to impress me. They are just so lovely and cute. Also they have added a Sticker store option, I guess they are planning to sell premium sets of stickers in future. Well, only time will tell.
But for now, They’ve made stickers available for PC. I’ve just received the update and wanted to share it with you guys. Check the screenshot above.
The new G-mail inbox is amazing. While it is a turn off for some people, it’s really quite helpful to me. Google describes the new tabs as a way to “put you back in control so that you can see what’s new at a glance and decide which emails you want to read and when.” Click here to watch their Promotional video about the new Gmail Layout with tabs (2013).
The new inbox organizes all emails in separate categories. The categories are primary, social, promotions, updates and forums. Now this type of inbox is really helpful to me because of many reasons.
First reason is that I’m a regular forum member on various Google product forumsand I receive loads of mails for the threads to which I post or subscribe to. Previously these mails used to appear along with other personal or important emails. But now these emails are isolated and stored in a completely new category.
The second best reason is that all promotional emails are identified and stored separately under promotionstab. So these kind of emails no longer get mixed with the emails which matter to me.
In the similar way, the socialtab groups all the emails from social sites like Facebook, twitter, YouTube, etc. The updatestab groups all kinds of updates or notifications. For example: If a new comment is posted on my blog, I get an email notification which is available under updates tab. All other emails which are sent directly to my mail address are available under primarytab.
The New Layout in Brief
Primary: person-to-person conversations and messages that don’t appear in other tabs
Social: messages from social networks, media-sharing sites and other social websites
Promotions: deals, offers, and other marketing emails
Updates: auto-generated updates including confirmations, bills, receipts, bills, and statements
Forums: messages from online groups, discussion boards, and mailing lists
Since I’ve purchased Nexus 4, I have been writing posts about Android and Google Plus. Recently i discovered a new app called Google Keep. Its a light weight app and very useful, especially for bloggers.
Using Google Keep you can write a note, make a list, click a image or even record your voice. And guess what? it will be available on all your devices. Since it will be synced in a matter of seconds (provided you have an internet connection like Wi-Fi or Mobile Network).
I am using Google Keep every single day. I just note down any random idea which crosses my mind so i can use it later on (maybe to blog, create video or a comic). Check the screenshot given below.
In the screenshot you can see, i have written a blog post then there’s the list of games, an idea of codefap comic 23 and a list of topics to write about.
How to use Google Keep?
Just get the Google Keep app from Play Store and install it on your Android device. Now you can quickly make notes, record your voice, make a list or capture an image.
Now just make sure you enable sync when you connect your Android device to the internet via Wi-Fi or mobile network. And all your data will be synced to cloud.
